“We had a great stay here. It was a perfect distance to the beach for us. Not right on the beach (to noise) but close enough it was easy to run back to the house for items we forgot to bring out to the beach. The neighborhood has so problems with petty theft, but the owner warned us of this ahead of time so we were careful to keep everything secure and we had no problems. We enjoyed our stay here very much.”

“We had the best time in Mission Beach with our family - 9 adults and 13 children. The house was perfect for our needs and we really loved that it had two separate sides so the small children that needed naps and early bedtime could be away from the later and louder goings-on in the evening. The beach is literally a few feet from the house and the location couldn’t be more perfect. The main street of Mission Beach is just down the sidewalk and our favorite taco place was just a block away. I think we went there every day. The owners were so accommodating and responded promptly to every question or concern we had. We are looking forward to coming again in the future and we would highly recommend this property.”

“Amazing spot for 15 of us on a trip to the San Diego area. Everything you need is within walking distance, only a hop, skip and jump away from the beach. Grocery store is only a few blocks away, with lots of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. The only times we needed transportation was for a round of golf at Torrey Pines, the Padres game, and when we went over to the Gaslamp Quarter. Overall we thought Whiting Manor was amazing!!! Would definitely stay again! Thanks for having us.”

“We love Ciara’s place and have stayed here twice now! Perfect location just off the beach in a quiet, pretty alley. Beautiful home with plenty of sleeping space and large common area with nice, modern kitchen. Wonderful amenities, including two very nice beach cruiser bicycles, which we used every day. Ciara is very responsive to any needs. We can’t wait for our third trip!!!”

“We had a total of 9 people stay at the property from 10/15 - 10/22. The home was big enough to fit us all comfortably. The property was well stocked with everything we needed, and was just a block down the back alley to the beach was was very convenient. We loved hanging out on the rooftop deck which has a view of the ocean as well. The home was well cleaned upon arrival. We had two vehicles (a mini van and a Dodge Charger) which both fit into the garage although it was very tight..just have to be very careful pulling in and out. There was also two washer/dryer machines which came in handy for a party of our size. There is a grocery store within walking distance as well which was very convenient. We also appreciated that every bedroom had a portable fan if we needed it. We have no complaints!”

There were Tons of boogie boards, beach chairs and sand toys! We have a very large family with all age ranges and there was something for everyone! My favorite spot was at the high patio table where you could have coffee or a cocktail and watch the ocean! We made a day trip to Sea World with only about a 10 minute drive. Owners very responsive to questions and property was well maintained for what I assume is a very heavily used rental.”

“My family spent time with me here to prepare for my sisters funeral. We absolutely loved and enjoyed this rental. The beach is steps away. The decor is comforting. Games and beach toys, surf boards, ect provided. Comfortable beds and sitting areas. Kitchens had everything! Grilling outside and having some family over for dinner was amazing. Everything was clean and everyone felt comfortable there. My family fell in love with this home and want to come back in future, maybe as a new tradition. I highly recommend this place to everyone!”

“We had about 15 athletes/coaches for a collegiate track meet in the area and this was a wonderful place to stay! Plenty of beds for everyone and the two kitchens were a huge plus just on space availability. Our athletes particularly enjoyed the boogie boards and wetsuits as well as the boardwalk within 20ft of the houses. Overall was a perfect way to split the two genders while still keeping the team together. Would definitely stay here again although I did hear from a few athletes that the mattresses could be updated otherwise no complaints!”

“We had a blast in this vacation home. Ample space for 8 people including 3 kids. TWO PARKING SPOTS...that fit 2 SUVs. All the little details/amenities were there to make sure we had what we needed. Plenty of linens and pillows. The lower and upper balconies are fantastic for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. The sound of the ocean is audible at all times. Lack of AC made it warm in the upper and middle rooms but fans made it manageable. Overall, we loved the house and plan to stay here again.”
